I live on the North shore of Long Island (Asharoken) along the LI Sound. My home is facing the Southwest on Northport Bay side. American Beach grass is the primary grass. However I need to replenish the beach with more beach grass. What do you recommend in addition to the above. very sunny, prevailing southeast/west wind? There is also goldenrod within the american beach grass. What grasses/plants, etc, do you recommend to maintain the dune and beach? when should I plant and order?
Thank you
Ed
